To provide a more spacious and functional kitchen, the rear wall was bumped out six feet and lighting was installed where needed. The large island allows the homeowner to converse with guests while preparing meals or allows family and friends to pitch in and help. The homeowner now has plenty of room for storage and the pull-out shelves in her custom alder cabinets make items readily accessible. She’s delighted to prepare meals using her state-of-the-art appliances and above-range pot-filler. She says her granite countertops and tile floor make clean-up a breeze. She loves her new wine chiller, too.
