To assist homeowners in providing a private retreat for their loved ones as they age, Berg Residential Construction, Inc., designs the needed space. Sometimes the design is as simple as remodeling a bath with grab bars, a handicap toilet, and a shower with a bench seat. Sometimes, Berg designs a second master suite or a separate structure. The dressing area in the bath below was quite accessible. However, the toilet and shower area was not accessible. Berg Residential Construction, removed the shower pan, lowered and sloped the floor, and formed an area totally accessible by wheelchair. Multiple body sprays were installed with an adjustable height shower head. Grab bars were added for convenience and safety.
