In Granite Bay, the homeowner’s loved their acreage and animals. They had a natural stream running through the property and wanted to incorporate a large pond to view from their family room, dinette, deck, spa, while entertaining family and friends. They visualized their dream home as a cottage in the woods. Van Berg of Berg Residential Construction, Inc., assisted the owners in seeing their dreams come true. Built on a corner lot in Folsom, this 2,750 SF home and 3+ car garage, with RV access, was designed to provide a view of the “green-thumbed” Client’s flower gardens and the green belt across the street. You should see the gardens in full bloom NOW!

This showcase two-story 2,600 SF home in Fair Oaks included a fully-appointed kitchen with walk-in pantry, vegetable sink, desk, and dinette overlooking the stepped-down family room and fireplace. From the formal living and dining rooms with built-in hutch and planter, a beautiful staircase to the upper balcony with built in cabinetry, leads to the master suite (see baths). The master suite, complete with marble fireplace, private redwood deck, walk-in closet, shower, and whirlpool serves as a re-treat for the homeowners after a busy day at the office.

A previous client called one day and said, "We can't find a one-story, four bedroom home, with a four-car garage, RV access, and have enough room to add a pool and guest cottage later. What size lot and approximately what would the completed project cost if we were to contract with you to build our dream home?" Within a few months, the client's home had been sold, a lot had been purchased in Elk Grove, and Berg Residential Construction, Inc., had the building plans in for a permit. From June to October, the clients watched their dream home become a reality. This full-service firm who offers "one-stop shopping," in concert with an interior decorator assisted the clients with selecting interior and exterior colors, roofing material, fixtures, appliances, floor coverings, tile and marble, cabinet design, wallpaper, window coverings, fencing and landscaping, and more. The clients were ecstatic as they moved into their beautiful new home in November.
